The spokesman for the Yemeni revolution of Ansarullah, Mohammed Abdul Salam, said on Thursday that Washington provides coverage for the Saudi-led coalition and its allies in their war against Yemen, not only politically but also backs up the coalition with weapons worth billions of dollars, stressing that the Yemeni missile attacks are purely defensive and will continue as long as the Saudi-led war continues.

“The Yemeni missile attacks totally come in defense of Yemen, the country, the revolution and the people, and will continue as long as the aggression and siege continue,” Abdul Salam said on Twitter.

“The condemnation of the White House is another example of Washington supporting the forces of aggression politically and supplying them militarily, as well as pushing them into dangerous traps!”

Recently, the three-long war led by Saudi Arabia escalated its crimes against the people of Yemen, where more than 150 civilians have been killed in its indiscriminate bombardment since the beginning of November alone.

In response to the continued war and siege imposed on Yemen since 26 March 2015, the Yemeni Missile Force launched a long-range ballistic missile type “Borkan H2” on Saturday night targeting King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital Riyadh.

It is noteworthy that independent local human rights organizations have confirmed that they have witnessed the death and injury of more than 35 thousand Yemeni civilians as a result of aerial bombardment carried out by the Saudi-led coalition on Yemen since March 2015, in addition to the destruction of thousands of homes, public and private facilities and infrastructure.
