The ongoing Saudi-led war on Yemen has been escalated in December, marking a high death toll in the impoverished Arab country.

600 killed or wounded were claimed by the Saudi-led war on Yemen in 26 days in December, according to a report broadcast by the local Yemeni TV Channel Almasirah.

The report mentioned that 400 Yemenis were either killed or injured by the Saudi-led war in the second half of December and that the air raids hit all the kinds of civil and military targets in various Yemeni governorates.

Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under a ruthless war by the Saudi-led coalition. Thousands have been killed and wounded in the attack, with the vast majority of them are innocent civilians.

Riyadh waged the attack on Yemen in an attempt to restore power to fugitive ex-president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
