Aden “the scene of assassinations of imams”

Unidentified gunmen assassinated the imam of the Ruwaishan Mosque in Mansoura, Aden, southern Yemen, Sheikh Khaled al-Azi, on Wednesday, according to press sources.

The sources added that the imam of the mosque Martyrs Square in Mansoura ,Sheikh Yasser al-Ezzi ,was shot by gunmen who shot him while he was near Caltex tour.

This comes hours after unidentified gunmen kidnapped the imam of Dhahibi mosque in the city of Crater, and was transported by car without a plate to an unknown location.

It is worth mentioning that the city of Aden, under the control of the UAE, is witnessing ongoing assassinations by unknown persons, including the imams of mosques in Aden .
