The US-Saudi -led coalition launched ,Thursday ,18 airstrikes on Hodeidah province, an official told YemenExtra.

14 raids aimed at a popular market in the top of Boraa protectorate, while four others hit the protectorate itself.

A security source in Al-Hodeidah province announced that the Security Services of the Yemeni army arrested criminal agents recruited by the US-Saudi coalition monitoring internal information and  providing coordinates.

The security source added that the elements, he described as very dangerous, tasked to monitor the movements of Yemeni targets and determine the coordinates to be bombed by the aggression aerial. They collect information about the activities and deceive Yemeni youth to recruit them in the coalition ranks.

Sayyad Abdulmalik AL-Houthi claimed on one of his speech that Saudi Arabia is just a tool used by USA and Israel to fight Yemen to conquer it and wrestle control over Red Sea and Bab-AL-Mandab which will enable them to rule the world.

The head of Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammad Al-Houthi, said that forces of multiple nationalities are supporting the Saudi alliance, including Israel and the United States, in the Battle of the West Coast.

In an interview with Al-Mayadeen TV, Al-Houthi announced that the international envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffith, did not raise any formal framework for clear negotiations and that the dialogue is possible with all Yemenis.

Hodeidah is a strategic port city which should be supporting more than 20 million Yemenis. It should be the source of at least 70 percent of all imports to Yemen,” Suze van Meegen, a protection and advocacy adviser with the Norwegian Refugee Council, told AFP. The US-Saudi-led coalition has been eager to retake from Yemeni joint forces control, according to Yemeni officials.. But the former UN special envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheik, warned against attacking the port city over potential catastrophic consequences to Yemen last year. Martin Griffiths, the new special envoy to Yemen, echoed the same concern over attacking Hudaydah at the UN Security Council this week.

Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

A UN panel has compiled a detailed report of civilian casualties caused by the Saudi military and its allies during their war against Yemen, saying the Riyadh-led coalition has used precision-guided munitions in its raids on civilian targets.

According to several reports, the Saudi-led air campaign against Yemen has driven the impoverished country towards humanitarian disaster, as Saudi Arabia’s deadly campaign prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country.
