Yemeni army forces have reportedly carried out an aerial attack and fired missiles against an important military target in the country’s western coastal province of Hodeidah and Saudi regions in retaliation for the US-backed Saudi-led coalition military campaign against their country.

A Yemeni military source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told YemenExtra that the air force of the Yemeni army forces ,Wednesday ,launched an air attack with a drone, Qasif1,on the gatherings  of the coalition north of Al-Khawkhah in the West Coast.

The Yemeni army missile force also launched a ballistic missile type Badr-1 at Saudi army in Jizan regi, targeting Saudi army in a Saudi mustahdath camp in east of the region.

It , yesterday, fired a ballistic missile, Badr 1, at recently constructed Saudi military camp, in Asir.

It also attacked a command center of the coalition, using a domestically-built Qasef-1 (Striker-1) combat drone on Monday afternoon.

The sources pointed out that it targeted a military tank of the leader of the paid fighters, “Ali Jaber Hindus” after a monitoring operation in the front of al-Yatmah, which led to the destruction of the tank and the death and injury of those on aboard.

According to sources, the paid fighter commanders “Ali Jaber Hindus” and “Nawaf Yahya Hindus” were seriously injured and then transferred for treatment into Saudi territory.

Earlier in the same day, their missile force targeted the coalition gatherings with a short-range ballistic missile, on the West Coast.

A military source told YemenExtra that the missile hit its target with high accuracy.

According to the source, the air force, after careful monitoring, in addition, carried out an air attack with Qasif combact drone, the operations room of the coalition on the West Coast, stressing that the operation hit its targets with high accuracy.

Elsewhere in Saudi Arabia’s southwestern border region of Jizan, they , Sunday, fired a domestically-designed and -developed ballistic missile , Badr 1, at recently constructed Saudi military camp .

On Sep.15, they fired a missile of the same type , that struck the Economic City in Jizan, hitting its target accurately.

The air force announced , earlier in the same day, that it targeted groups of the coalition with several air raids in Al-Jawf province, using Qasif , which as usual hit its target with high accuracy.

On Friday, the missile force , also, hit Aramco Company in Jizan with a ballistic missile, Badr1, causing material losses.

Moreover, it targeted, last Thursday, Jizan Airport with two ballistic missiles, Badr1.

It is noteworthy that the Rocketry Force intensified launching the ballistic missiles, firing 14 ballistic missiles, Badr 1, that targeted military, economic and vital Saudi Arabia targets since the beginning of this month.

It, notably, has carried out more than 11 targeting operations on invaders and mercenaries since July, most notably the bombing of Aramco’s refinery in Riyadh and the Abu Dhabi and Dubai international airports.

Seperately, 18 fishermen were killed on Tuesday by the coalition warship that targeted their fishing boats in Khokha coastal district, in Hodeidah, whereas the fishermen started the fishing trip from Khokha port, controlled by the coalition forces , which is about 125 km away from the center of the province.

On Sep. 17, seven people, including women and children, lost their lives and several others were injured when the coalition fighter jets bombed a residential building in the Huran district of central Bayda province.

In addition, the coalition , on Sep. 16, targeted Al-Hodeidah radio station in the Al-Marawah district with several raids, which led to the death of 3 guards and one of its employees, in addition to material damage to the buildings and facilities of the radio.

On Sep.15, at least 15 people have lost their lives in fresh air raids conducted by the coalition’s warplanes on a strategic road linking the Yemeni port city of Hodeidah to the capital, Sana’a, and more than 20 people were injured in the aerial assaults on the Kilo 16 highway.

Notably, many Yemeni families reportedly have nothing to eat but leaves as a humanitarian crisis caused by the coalition’s deadly bombing campaign on the impoverished state reaches a critical stage.

The Associated Press reported that people in the Aslam district of Yemen’s northwestern Hajjah Province rely on leaves from the local vine, known as Halas in Arabic or Arabian Wax Leaf in English, due to worsening hunger.

Mothers, the report said, pick the leaves, then wash and boil them into a sour, acidic green paste to stave off starvation.

According to local health figures, Aslam recorded one of Hajjah’s highest jumps in the number of malnourished children, from 384 cases being treated in January, an additional 1,319 more came in over the next six months.

Additionally, Aslam’s main health center has no pediatricians, electricity, oxygen cylinders and fuel for generators, the report said.

At least 20 children are known to have died of starvation this year in Hajjah.

Walid al-Shamshan, head of the Health Ministry’s nutrition section in Hajjah, said the province had seen 17,000 cases of severe acute malnutrition in the first six months of 2018, higher than in any full year on record.

“Deaths happen in remote villages where people can’t reach the health units,” Shamshan said. “It’s a steady deterioration and it’s scary.”

International human rights organisations accused Western countries, including the United States, Britain, France and Spain, of supplying the coalition in Yemen with weapons which are being used to commit possible war crimes in Yemen.

In March 2015, the US backed –Saudi-led coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.

Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

A UN panel has compiled a detailed report of civilian casualties caused by the Saudi military and its allies during their war against Yemen, saying the Riyadh-led coalition has used precision-guided munitions in its raids on civilian targets.

Sayyad Abdulmalik AL-Houthi claimed on one of his speech that Saudi Arabia is just a tool used by USA and Israel to fight Yemen to conquer it and wrestle control over Red Sea and Bab-AL-Mandab which will enable them to rule the world.

According to several reports, the coalition air campaign against Yemen has driven the impoverished country towards humanitarian disaster, as the coalitiondeadly campaign prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country.
