A diplomatic source asked UN envoy Martin Griffith and the United Nations to be careful of the list of names of the missing and prisoners whom the Riyadh delegation wants to be included in the prisoner exchange agreement.

The source stressed the importance of reviewing the statements submitted by the delegation of Riyadh not to be involved in the release of terrorist elements.

The source revealed that the participation of the envoy of General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar in the consultations of Sweden within the delegation of Riyadh, Askar Zaile, was to release a large number of the most dangerous terrorist elements involved in the bombings and assassinations in Yemen over the past two decades, pointing out that the participation of Zayil within the other party came to  represent the terrorist groups, mainly #al-Qaeda and #Daesh in the consultations of Sweden.

It pointed out that Askar Zaile, who was initially known as the official spokesman of what was known as the First Armored Division, is considered one of the most prominent members of al-Qaeda in Yemen, which is considered to be affiliated with the religious trend, a source of pride in front of others.

The delegation of paid fighters presented a list of more than eight thousand and five hundred prisoners and detainees to the international envoy and the Red Cross as part of the prisoner and detainee exchange agreement. The list of the missing paid fighters, who demanded the release of their names, included dozens of names of prisoners and detainees of al-Qaeda and Daesh , who were fighting in the ranks of the Saudi led-coalition, backed by the US, including the names of detainees earlier in the case of terrorism.

The source explained that some of the names belong to detainees wanted by the security services from the period of the resignes Yemeni president Hadi , loyal to the coalition, and were arrested for their involvement in terrorist acts at the time.

In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 60,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroشad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.

Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

More than 2,200 others have died of cholera, and the crisis has triggered what the United Nations has described as the world’s worst humanitarian disaster.

However, Saudi Arabia relies heavily on the US in its brutal war on Yemen. Washington has deployed a commando force on the Arab kingdom’s border with Yemen to help destroy arms belonging to Yemen’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement. Washington has also provided logistical support and aerial refueling.
