The Yemeni Armed Forces’ spokesman on Wednesday said that targeting Sana’a International Airport under baseless pretexts reflects the real intentions of the Saudi-led coalition to obstruct the United Nations efforts to reopen the airport, which is considered a humanitarian and moral demand.

“The coalition’s air raids on Sanaa airport today is a crime added to the series of its heinous crimes against the Yemeni people for nearly four years,” said Brigadier General Yahya Sarea.

The statement also called on the United Nations to hold its responsibility and put an end to the US-backed Saudi war and end the suffering of Yemenis.

Sarea held the Saudi, Emirati regimes and US administration responsible for all the crimes perpetrated against Yemenis.
