“Yemeni People are not worried about the increase in US troops in the Middle East,” member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Al-Houthi said on Saturday.

“It would be better for their people to feel – even once – that they have learned the lesson from the Vietnam War, the Iraq war or their war in Yemen. These are absurd wars. Tell the American people the truth, that everyone knows. Tell them that increasing the number of deployed does not mean victory. What was not achieved by 1400 troops cannot be achieved by the announced increase.” Al-Houthi said.

“Instead of sending more thousands of American troops to the Middle East, it would be better for Trump, his administration and Secretary of War Mark Esper to send out plans for coexistence, equal citizenship and democracy, not war and destruction for their allies or people.”

The top politician pointed out that it would be better for the United States to surprise the world by changing its aggressive policy, which certainly did not reap any rewards but discontent and loss. “Trump also said they lost 8 trillion dollars because of their wrong decision,” he reminded the US and its Adminstration.

He explained that the US withdrawal from the lines of contact with Iran in Syria does not mean repositioning it for Saudi Arabia, reiterating that “the allegations of confrontation with Iran from Saudi Arabia has become scandalous.”

He concluded by addressing the American president and his administration, saying, ” Our Yemeni People, who have not been hiding from your forces and your arms, which proved to be used to only kill the Yemeni People, is certainly not worried about increasing your numbers. They trust and depend on Allah, and whatever you do, you are the losers.”
